MCM Hall / Entry Table

This mid-century modern console table was restored as a custom client project, preserving the original form while updating the finish for a refined, contemporary presentation. The clean lines, tapered legs, and open lower shelf reflect classic MCM design, making the piece well suited for entryways, hallways, or behind-sofa placement.

The table was carefully refinished to achieve a smooth, durable black finish that highlights the simplicity of the silhouette. Original brass hardware was cleaned and polished, adding warmth and contrast against the dark finish. The drawer was reconditioned for smooth operation, and the lower shelf provides functional open storage while maintaining a light visual footprint.

This project reflects a thoughtful balance between honoring original mid-century design and tailoring the finish to suit the client’s space.
